Not only are the shapes representing the intersecting and sometimes chance meeting of people and ideas, but the movement and the exchange of information through time and space. Ideas intersect, grow or decay or remain singular. These new panels have a very organic feeling to them though the delicate, sensitive yet heavily dense layering of the imagery. The imagery reminds us of our own nature and gives us a sense of something greater. The work grows, it emerges slowly over time to the viewer. A map, a portal, a reminder of where we are, where we have been, and where we are going.

I used a casting technique using wet clay, sand, pigments and resin. I wanted to create objects that's presence would feel very old and would maintain a deep religious mysteriousness. They are portals. Portals into death and through rebirth.
